FRIDAY
After losing his job, Craig (Ice Cube) chills with his pothead friend Smokey (Chris Tucker) in their South Central L.A. neighborhood. Over the course of a Friday afternoon, the two get into some crazy trouble checking out hot women, offending dangerous thugs and getting high. Rapper turned actor Ice Cube co-wrote this urban comedy, which features classic hip-hop tracks from the likes of Dr. Dre, Cypress Hill, Mack 10 and more.
NEXT FRIDAY
In director Steve Carr's sequel to the urban comedy Friday, the streetwise Craig Jones (Ice Cube) is still rooming at his parents' house in South Central Los Angeles when he learns that his archnemesis, Debo (Tommy "Tiny" Lister), has broken out of jail. Craig's father ships his slacker son to uncle Elroy's (Don "DC" Curry) house in the suburbs. But new problems arise -- not the least of which is the girl next door.
FRIDAY AFTER NEXT
Get set for more neighborhood misadventures -- this time, during the holiday season -- as the third installment in the Friday series finds Craig (Ice Cube) and Day-Day (Mike Epps) working as security guards and dealing with a thief who's stealing Christmas presents. It's up to the close-knit, hard-luck cousins to catch the "ghetto Santa" and help keep the Yuletide spirit alive in this hilarious urban comedy.
