Sid (Jaycee Chan – son of the legendary Jackie Chan) is the hedonistic playboy son of Kwan (veteran actor Tony Leung Ka Fai – Election, The Myth), an infamous Hong Kong crime boss. With cheeky insolence, Sid seduces the mistress of his father's gangland rival, Stephen Ma (Kenneth Tsang – 007, Die Another Day) igniting a deadly standoff between the two families. Demanding the boy be punished, Stephen forces Kwan to ship Sid to a remote, mountainous region of Taiwan in order to get him out of harm's way. But while in exile, Sid encounters a group of Zen drummers and decides to join their troupe, all the while knowing that he will eventually have to return to Hong Kong and settle his unfinished business with the criminal families.
